Youth Accounts

Long Island Community Federal Credit Union knows how critical it is for children and teenagers to understand the importance of saving. It is our goal to educate them on how to make smart financial decisions and show them that saving can be FUN through our Youth Account programs. Our youth accounts offer a 3% APY, so our young members can earn dividends on the first dollar they save!

The Kirby Kangaroo Club (ages 12 & under)*

The Kirby Kangaroo Club is a savings program designed especially for kids up to 12 years of age, brought to you by Long Island Community Federal Credit Union.

With Kirby Kangaroo, kids can learn about saving and other important financial topics through stories, games, and entertaining activities.
Best of all, the club is fun, and FREE!

CU Succeed (ages 13-18)

CU Succeed is an exciting program designed especially for teens, brought to you by Long Island Community Federal Credit Union!

With CU Succeed teens can learn to manage their money and get valuable information on a wide variety of financial topics. Everything is covered – from balancing a checkbook to funding a college education.
